Kemai Chemical was founded in 1998. At present, the number of employees can be more than 600. The company is a member of China Rubber Committee and national approved High and New Tech Enterprise. The company owns municipal grade technical center and national appointed laboratory(CNAS). It has gained Tianjin Famous Brand, Tianjin Famous Brand Products and so on. It is the leading enterprise in Tianjin during the 12th Five Years Plan and Exported Brand Unit.
The company owns 30,000 t/year rubber additives factory in Tianjin, 50,000 t/year additives MBT Inner Mongolian Factory as well as the global largest 50,000 t/year anti-aging agent Tianjin Factory. It also owns Kemai Tianjin Headquarter, Kemai American Chemical Co., Ltd. to R&D and produce rubber additives products. The products can be mainly used in the production of tires, rubber pipes, rubber belt and so on. Nearly 50% of them are imported and the products can be sold to more than 30 countries and area. The main users are top ten tire manufacturers.
Since the foundation of the company it has formed the goal to be S&T-oriented and enter future as well as creating first class enterprise and build famous brand as the brand development strategy. The registered brand  means improving and stable development. There are already 19 pieces national registered brands.
For ten years, the company appointed the products for high rank market and it aims to the advanced level to enlarge the investment to improve the self-innovation ability. The company has built cooperation with Tianjin University, Nanjing University, Beijing Rubber Research Design Institutes and so on. There are 46 patents and 11 of them have passed municipal test.
